This very compact central table island is designed to provide the kitchen with free cooking space. The under counter has storage, compost collection and an electrical outlet. It also has ample legroom as a sitting counter.
The client requested a custom piece of furniture that would be very soft to the touch and subtlety curved to the body. The counter top is one-piece of porcelain (40% of recycled material) supported on a curved Québec cherry wood base and steel legs
